Warning Abit KT7 Raid , Bios kt7_wg is corrupt

I installed the Beta kt7_wg bios on my board and it went south, just beeps.
This Beta bios is no good, It flashed alright but after reboot it is dead.
I had to call Abit for a bios replacement.
This sucks, I flashed bioses over 100 times and this is a first.
I ordered the Bios savor from MWave for future experimentation.
I guess I live and learn the hard way.
 
Did you have your CPU fan on the fan header #1? If the wg bios don't detect a fan running at, at least, 2000RPM on HDR1 on boot-up, it will simply shut down, assuming that your CPU is in danger because the fan is dead.

I flashed my board with the wg bios, and I had this problem too. I had read the instructions that SPECIFICALLY said that the cpu fan NEED to be on HDR1 for the wg bios, but I thought I had installed mine on that one so I didn't checked. I was wrong tho, but I knew this was the problem so I didn't freaked out. I changed it and all is fine now.
