Grabbed a pair of these yesterday randomly walking in to REI.

$48 seems to be a decent price compared to what I've seen most places. Of course, reduced further if you're a member and use your dividend (I had $5).

Good chart for reference. Though I definitely would recommend trying them on at a store first. The chart said I should be a 41, but after a lengthy conversation with the guy and testing them out, I decided I needed 42s. The sizer at the store put me right on the border between sizes. Of course, REI's great return policy means I can change my mind if this size doesn't work out.

Wow! Thanks! I've been rocking these things for nearly everything since last June (unless it's raining, soggy feet all day sucks). Gonna order another pair so my Mom can bring them to me when she comes to visit next month!
