Cold.
[*]When it is too cold, put on more clothes, and you are just fine for the rest of the day.
[*]When it is too hot, you sweat, feel slimy from the sweat, and stink the rest of the day. You could take a shower, but as soon as you are out, you are overheated again and the problem repeats.
Thus cold is fixable, hot isn't.

This is how I think of it. 72°F is comfortable for just about everyone. Would you rather be 50°F hotter: at 122°F? Or would you rather be 50°F colder: at 22°F? That is a fair comparison. And almost anyone would answer colder. Why would you only go up 24°F but go down 56°F, what an unfair comparison! Heck almost anyone can tollerate double the temperature drop than they can tolerate a temperature rise.

Cold. I love to ice skate outside and have snow ball fights.

When its hot out I just stay indoors and try to cool off.

Sort of like hibernation.😛

i sweat like a pig, so i voted cold. not that i like cold, i like 68F , but if it gets above 82F , i sweat buckets

if i could make it 68F everywhere i go, i would do that

Cold. I hate stinking and sweating and being useless way more than I hate shivering.

I can't sleep when its hot either.

Hot for sure, huge pool in the backyard that doesn't get nearly as much use

and the clothes girls wear when it's hot, wow, tough to concentrate at my university

Heat doesn't really bother me much at all, I've usually lived in dry hot deserts &
hot tropical humid places for most of my life.

. . . but the cold is another matter, gets much below 72*F & I look for a jacket.
