Not a bad deal but for the same price I got a pair of Uniden handsets that are in the 2.4 GHz range and have the same features from Target. They work pretty well on my Vonage setup.

I actually have the dual-handset model with the answering machine (should be the same phones). They work fine for me. Some other phones might have slightly better range. There's just a spot in the kitchen downstairs for me where I tend to get some blips in the sound. It works fine everywhere else in the house. I will agree with the Amazon reviews about using headsets. For some reason, there's a drop in sound quality when a headset is plugged in. It's not unuseable, just different sounding (you'll sound like you're on speakerphone to the person you're talking to). I don't know if this is true for all headsets or phones as the only phones I have with the headset plugs are Unidens.

How much bandwidth can 900Mhz deliver in small increments in the UNII band? FAR FAR FAR more than what is necessary for a single voice conversation.

Please, people, the 2.4GHz band is already crowded -- as well, the 2.4GHz spectrum is VASTLY inferior to 900MHz (or even lower if you could get it) spectra for penetration. Thus, if the bandwidth of one (or even two calls) will never exceed the capacity of a 900MHz carrier, why use 2.4GHz or 5.3, 5.8 when they'll NEVER carry as far or penetrate as well as900???

Enlighten yourselves -- leave the 2.4 GHz band alone! :D

FYI: I know a lot of these dual handset phones do not allow both sets to be used simultaneously, which is a bummer for me. If you care, look into it.

I have 2 phones of this brand, but no model. After going through 3 panasonic phones in 3 years i bought 2 of these for like 1/4 as much and they have lasted me 4 years and counting.
