Looks like a great price for the 17" LCD display. Lowest price for that size on PW is around $395 for no-name model. Only catch is the response time, which Outpost listed as 50ms. That seems really high--is it?

Cakewalk Pro is particularly good for transfer LP or Tape to digital format (namely wave and mp3), and it is the only reason to get it. Other functions, burning cd, ripping cd, coverting files... are only so-so.

50ms response time is terrible, at least for gaming. All around its kinda crappy and equates to a very poor refresh rate.

Newer monitors now should be 30 to even 20ms response time to be considered good refresh.

This monitor's 250 brightness and 350:1 contrast is mediocre.
This deal is lukewarm at best. The free cakewalk is ok tho.
