so this isn't exactly new news cause i've always remembered six flags season passes being cheap, but now it's the same price as a one day ticket. it's been a while since i've gone back to six flags, but there was a time where for a few years i'd get season passes and just go to the park even if for a few hours. doesn't have the happy goofy feel of disney, but definitely some of the best rides in so-cal (havent tried the other six flags parks, but i'm sure they're great too). more details at sixflags.com

if you aren't interested in a full season pass they are also selling one day passes for $26 on the site (good through march, not sure if college students can get a better deal from school ticketing offices or not)

This will be a smoking hot deal if available at my local 6 flags (Darien Lake).. 1 day pass is only 20-something IIRC... and the season pass is good at all the other six flags parks (with some exceptions for water parks)
 
Still shows as $180 for season passes for a family of 4... no different than last year... That's not the price of one day admission..
Park specific maybe?
