Warm? Serious Sam $9.95 at Best Buy B&M

Hello,

Did a search on this but the last post was sometime in Nov., picked up Serious Sam for $9.95 at local BB. Pretty tight game for those like me who are waiting to get Wolfenstein for X-mas.

Very fun game. Good deal, definitely worth the ten bucks. I think most other places sell it for around $20.

The game itself looks very comical, somewhat like Duke Nukem 3D. I've been thinking on picking it up, but now will have to for $9.95!

If you have any interest in shooters, definitely worth 10 bucks. Never have I killed so many alien spawn in a single game, let alone a single level. And those damn little hell-toads! God I hate 'em.

There's a new patch out that adds some DirectX 8.0 graphics features, I understand...

Great game! Wide open areas with LOTS of things to shoot at (some levels must have more than 50 bad guys on screen at one time!). Get a couple friends with PCs and try this on a LAN; even MORE fun...

I think I like this one better than Wolfenstien; Wolf is too serious. This one is just fun!

I think that Serious Sam II comes out in a month or so. That's probably why the price came down.

I bought this many months ago when CompUSA had it for 10 bucks.. Worth every penny.
It does seem alot like Duke Nukem, and the graphics are really nice. The game makes you jump alot when you see something all the sudden right on you (which happens alot) and makes it a blast to play, especially multiplayer where everyone can help clear the land of those skeleton-dogs and acid-frogs!!!

I think I'll pick up another copy for my LAN parties!!

I bought this when it came out since it was only $20. It's a really short game, it took me 3 hours to beat and I only played an hour a night. This game is worth $10, pick it up if you don't have it.

On one level it showed my total number of kills at 1608 monsters....that's some serious firepower!!

Great game btw... and I don't usually like shooters. SS was entirely too much fun though. That one level where there's literally hundreds of those skeletal horse things.... :Q Crazy.

There was no sign of a price change at my Best Buy (NJ) either, but I got a price check and it came up as $9.95.

Yes, it does work on WinXP. I got it a couple days ago, and finished it last night. Cool game.
