Looks like the bigger rebate is thru Seagate , I have heard they take a long time to process.

Id go for it myself if the whole $50 was thru BB.

Some people have better luck maybe, but I've been waiting for several months for my Segate rebate. Beware, or at least don't expect a fast turn around.

I just returned two requests for more info. One was legit, sort of, since I had forgotten to fill in one redundant line for data that existed in 5 other places. The other stated I had a bad serial number. So I scanned the freakin drive and sent that in. It's been another 2 weeks, still nothing. Seagate rebates are something you definitely want to beware of if you're short of cash. The drives are great, their MIR turn-around is about on par with Maxtor's reliability....

Still waiting on my Seagate Rebate I sent in Sept 2004. I call them up and they say they are still back logged.

I bought a Seagate drive through Outpost.com and submitted my rebate about the 10th of October. A couple of weeks ago, I contacted Seagate and they had no record of my rebate submission. They told me to send in copies of all the forms. Of course, I didn't have copies, so I figured I would never get the rebate. Two days ago (more than 3 months after submitting), I received it to my surprise.
