Warm? Promise ATA133 TX2 controller $46 shipped from newegg

Second one from the top of the list.

I thought this was a warm deal, it's listed as OEM, but the picture shows a manual, cable, drivers and I called them, they said all that stuff in the picture is included. I think this is not bad considering it's supposed to retail for $75 from what I've heard. Does anyone know if the Promise and Maxtor cards are identical, meaning same bios optinos, same setup, same drivers, etc.?

Also from what I've heard you really don't need anything faster then ATA 66, cause you can're really get faster then transfers rates but what this card does do is support HD greater then 137GB.

As I understand it, ATA133 drives in a RAID 0 will run pretty close to 100MB/sec transfer rate. I do not know if that is sustained or burst rate though. I will try to find the review I read and provide a link.
