I read this at large pocketbook that OD had on clearance all their PC Games. So I stopped by my local Office Depot, Dearborn, MI, and to my surprise it was true. I picked up MOHAA and NWN for 25.88 ea, not hot but warm deal.

I also saw the following games there for 25.88 or less:
BF1942
MOHAA
Black Hawk Down (20.88)
Zoo Tycoon
Quake Package, Q1, Q2, & Q3A (10.88)
Several sporting games (15.88)
And some Kids titles (10.88)

Good luck.

I played the demo on my Ti4200 and it was rough , either the graphics suck or it requires a much better card.

It was fun though.

Ditto that. My TI4200 (128MB) struggled with it as well.

the 4200 is sufficient for good gameplay. It is pretty cpu intensive and REALLY memory intensive though. Lots of people report a huge jump in performance going from 256 to 512MB of main memory.

The graphics are decent (regardless of which card, unless its old one) but not up to the level of RTCW.

I got Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear Platinum pack there for $2.99. I don't know anything about the game, but it seemed too cheap to pass up.

Blackhawk down is a Very good game..Would have been great if they had followed the weapons of df 1.

you can use more sniper rifles..but most maps are inner city so they kinda killed that.
Now you have a shotgun for secondary weapon.

Claymores do more damage than older game patches...finally you can die from a claymore LOL
They seem to struggle with that one

As usual most of the good maps are Novalogic only..so if you run a server you get the
junky ones.

Video I am using a is a 4400 and I have settings on max with no slowdowns on a 1.8 P4
I feel it was worth the money

And thanks for the info about the sale I will stop by and see if my local store has anything on cheap

In response to above: Yes Black Hawk Down is good. Riding along in a little bird over Mogadishu popping Militia is AWESOME! Also I have a ti4200 and have no problems playing it. Here are other specs 2100+ Athlon XP, K7S5A, 512 MB PC2700DDR, Western Digital 80 GB SE, Gainward ti4200 64MB Video Card. This rig plays EVERYTHING I throw at it without a problem. Enjoy!

(sorry, out of topic)
Cleaner,
Are you really using DDR2700 on a K7S5A? are you running it at 266 MHz (i.e. PC2100 speed)? If not let me know how you did it.

BTW, Ti4200 64MB kills Ti4200 128MB in performance, it even says it on the front and back of the box. I didn't get why the pple that got the 64MB wanted the 128MB (more is not better in this case). All that work trying to get the 128MB replaced in the normal 64MB box and for less performance. Its not an opinion its a fact

No go in Birmingham. Games were marked normal price and ringing up at normal price.

For those who found these at the clearance price ~~.88, did it ring up at the clearance price or did they have a price sticker with the .88 price and are manually marking them down to the clearance?

The two games I picked up the cashier adjusted the register to the correct price marked on the box.

AbusedFish, when they first came out, ti 4200 64MB have 500Mhz memory while 128MB have 444Mhz. That's not true anymore with PNY ti4200 128MB. 128MBs now come in 513Mhz speed. Effectively out performing their 64MB brethen.

I suppose the new 128MB's no longer run @ 222Mhz DDR anymore. Based on PNY's website both the 64MB and 128MB ti4200 have a stock "effective memory clock rate" of 250Mhz DDR --> 500Mhz. I'm not sure about the 513Mhz you're talking about, but you're right. Obviously, even if it were 128MB@500Mhz vs a 64MB@500Mhz, the 128MB will out-perform it's sibbling.

In short, NM.

PS: thx for the info. Didn't know they upped the bandwidth for 128MB.
