I would personally go with the following:

LITE-ON LTR-24102B-01 24x10x40 CDRW
RETAIL Internal IDE CD Rewritable drive
Includes All recording Software : Blank CD-Rx1, CD-RWx1
Fedex Saver Shipping $5.00
(N82E16827106162)

$82.00 plus $5.00 SH

This is from NewEgg and they are the best distributor out there!

aren't pac digitals all rebadged lite-ons anyway?
i know mine was. the sticker on the drive said lite on itself, not pacific digital... but i got the 16x, and i know how things can change between models.

What about the Que on sale tomorrow for 69 bucks (after rebate though) at CompUsa? I know this is off topic a bit but this sucker just booted the yamaha as #1 at CNET. 24X10X40.

I think I am waking up to get in a line again..

There's no way I'd stand in line at ChumpUSA on a Sunday morning. Buy today and get a price "adjustment" tomorrow. Plus, if you check the store, the rebate certificate probably covers purchases starting today - I've seen quite a few of their rebate certificates run from Saturday to Saturday in the past.
