I went to Fry's @ City of Industry, CA to pick up this ram and came back
home to do some comparison to see if it's worth keeping.
Mushkin Basic Green 512mb DDR PC2100
Total= 89.99 + tax = $97.41-20 MIR = 77.41 This Deal ends Tues 9/23 I believe
Mushkin Blue 512mb DDR PC3200
I saw that @ outpost.com which has the PC3200 for 89.99. That is now on backorder apparently because
it's a great deal. So I estimated with s/h and tax I be paying $103 or so for that one if I am to get it.
However, you have to wait until the ram are in stock which the CREP told me she doesn't know how long it'll take.
-----------------------------------------
So which one is the better deal? I've ask around and the Blue Mushkin 3200 looks great but you have to wait. The Rebate one above is OEM/Basic version which I take it isn't as good as the black IIs mushkins or the blue ones. So I was wondering if I should keep it or return it and wait for a better deal on other rams like Crucial or Kingston.
