And also: looks like they just added the Model 7B300S0, OEM Drive Only yesterday to their store, for $238 shipped, but its out of stock until January 7th.

I'm still holding off for a good price on the 250GB SATA, I'd like 16MB/SATA ~$150-$170, shipped, 3-5 yr warranty etc, would be willing to do a rebate, or for prices on Max 3 to come down a little bit, or Seagate drives to start going on sale...but if you need 300GB/16MB/SATA and want it now, this is a pretty good deal.
 
The 250GB has a slightly better seek time & if you look at the Maxtor site, is slightly more quiet.
