You have to add to cart to see price, but as of today its 1080 dollars, plus shipping.

I think for a name brand plasma this is a good deal. 50 inches is the minimum I would go for nowadays. Might as fill up a wall and be able to see the thing. I do know some folks arent keen on plasmas and some folks dont like LG televisions, but if anyone wants to crap on this it should be because they think its a rotten deal compared to other 50 inch plasma screens.

Please note there are quite a few models in the same line that are slightly more expensive. Been checking around online and nobody has any complaints about image quality on this thing and since thats my main concern I can deal with it being a relatively low-end model.

Newegg also has some decent deals on 54 inch and above diplays right now, but they arent as good a bargain as this.

That's a good deal. So is the Sears deal.

Personally, I still think Plasma is a winner. I haven't seen an LCD that matches the picture quality, not yet anyway. Yeah, it's heavy and uses a fair amount more power, but I like it 🙂

I just wish I could find a 37" plasma to put in our TV cabinet upstairs. My fiancee is set on keeping it, so my giant TV is in the basement. Actually, it's worked out well for me.

Went to the Sears website. I didnt see the cashback but I did see the price.
I'm thinking this will be a good Xmas present to myself this year.

OOS at the egg, but several sites show up if you search the model number on bing. Tigerdirect is just too spammy to get thru the work firewall, but seems to be the best deal after cashback.

Cheapest is still at Sears. $1,069.99 - 16% (Bing - 10% (Sears Card) plus a possible $100.00 gift card.

Good deal, except LG quality sucks. My boss has a 720p LG display and has had nothing but problems with it.

Good thing he has a warranty on it, the repairman has had to come out and fix the display 2 times now. If it breaks one more time, apparently LG will replace the display but he's not sure if it's with something equal in the current-gen displays or if they will just refund him cash.

When they have something I find Tiger is often the cheapest. But their selection stinks and their site is a mess.
