Found this quite by accident, but it looks like a deal to me. Anyone have any experience with Lexar flash memory?

Well, I was going to go for this, but once I had it in my cart a 'handling fee' of $4.95 and Calif. sales tax of $7.47 got added. That makes it about $80.00 after rebate. Not worth it to me. I might just as well go over to my local Costco and get a Sandisk 512MB for $45.

Sandisk is extremely overpriced. The regular Sandisk SD memory can't not handle high resolution burst shooting or high bitrate video shooting very well. You will need to buy the Sandisk Ultra II in order to get good speed. Lexar 40X above is good but you might as well buy the Kingmax Platinum SD 60X memory for $82 + tax + shipping = $90 without the rebate hassles.

Good Luck getting your rebates from Ecost!! I have yet to receive one from them on four orders from them over the last year!!

--------------

just watch out ordering from ecost. I bought a $600 receiver recommended on here, and it was shipped broken to me, they charged me 70 shipping even though it was shipped broken.
