Now listed as $59.99 on the site (search for "kingston ddr"). $15 rebate is good for this week. This may also be available at the B&M, but I haven't checked. One rebate per address.

I was at a Best Buy B&M today and didn't notice the kingston price (didn't check bestbuy.com until I got home), but I did get some PNY Optima 256 DDR memory that had the Samsung PC2700 chips (chips end with CB3). This memory was 69.99 (probably to match the CompUSA special, which I brought to pricematch with, but they beat me to it). It was around $100 last week. YMMV on the faster Samsung chips, I got the last two at the store I was in.

I will most likely keep the PNY and not go for the Kingston since I need 2 sticks and I got lucky finding the faster sticks.

not to threadcrap, as this is an excellent deal for $45, if you are in socal fry's, they have corsair 2700 for $59.99. i am testing it out right now, one stick does 203/406 without errors in memtest. gonna test the other stick. one per customer.

i have a friend who does not need pc2700, just plain ol' 2100, will buy one for him. thanks Rupert.

Why not me? Why not? A guy can get anything he wants as long as he pays the price. What's wrong with that? Stranger things have happened.

My kid needs one for his P4 with 256MB only.

In store the price is $99 with a $55 rebate to equal $45, but Best Buy will not price match their own web site at $60.

Darn, I needed some more $5 RAM.

Order online and then choose instore pickup - hopefully you should still be able to get the $55 rebate (where is that rebate anyway??? all i can find is the $15 one online....)

Plus it has a $15.00 print out. So after the mail in rebate it comes to $ 47 or something like that. :) My self I usually buy crucial or Mushkin since I O/C. But its just for my dad and as long as it works he doesnt care of the brand name. :)

BTW.. Newegg has Crucial 256 DDR 2100 for $70.00 with free shipping or atleast it was this moring. Thats cheaper then Crucials site even with the 15% off coupon. Again this was the prices this morning.
