on sale: $7 - $7 MIR = FREE

BUT you must send in the rebate within 7 days of purchase

posting this because cd-r deals are getting fewer and fewer and i've never had a problem with these cd's with my TDK 16x cd-rw

oh, meh. i was gonna do that staples deal until i went online to look for the nearest staples when there aren't near where i'm at now. i then checked out officedepot.com and officemax.com and found these. the ones at the store were 48x and on the rebate it also specifies 48x. i usually don't check FW unless i need coupon codes

if for some reason that link does not work... try searching for Item # 20047584 at office max's website.

I'm getting really sick of the OfficeMax "deals", nothing is ever in stock at any of the OM near me, and the way the shelves are layed out you have to waste a lot of time to be sure of where the items used to be located.

I have some of these and they will not burn over 32x - but hey, they're free. The last batch of FAR Imation discs I got were rated at 52x, so maybe wait for one of those deals to come along.

I got those 100pc 48X FAR on BF along with the Khypermedia CDRW Drive and they burn at 52X for me.

At the OM I went to they didn't have any more kHypermedia discs, but gave me the ValueDisc discs at the same price. The rebate is the same for both.

The ValueDisc discs are 40x 800mb 70min.

Anyone else notice there's two rebates for this product, both $7.

One goes to rebatesHQ, Miami, where Khypermedia Manufacture's rebates usually goes.

rebatesHQ

Another goes to easierrebates, in Seattle.

easierrebates

Which form is most people using? The store pointed me to this stack of printed out rebate forms which mostly was directed to easierrebates.

what other rebate? and yeah, these discs were hard to find cuz the shelf that was labeled for these discs were empty, but there were a few at the very top of the high shelves (barely visible), but apparently the OM near me also places cd-r's near labels or some other obscure place.

I like Khypermedia but sometimes I can't differentiate from the burnable side and the side that you can write on (with a marker). I hate that! Oh well, it's free :)
