At BJ's Wholesale club.

I like BJs far better than Sams or Costco too due to groceries and a fantastic DVD selection.

Cheapest I found on net was $389 plus $11 shipping.

No, they don't do mail order or anything like that. And you have to be a member, which is $35 or $40 a year (just like the other clubs.)

I know, but BJs has more of a selection of what I want to eat, like lo-fat stuff...and Perdue chicken and a fresh seafood counter and black Angus and a really good wine and beer selection...I could go on and on but that wouldn't be talking about the IPaq much. Plus who wants to give more money to Wal Mart? ugh.

You can get an Amex CC through Costco that doubles as your membership card, so there's no Costco membership fee plus there's no annual fee on the card plus you get a rebate on your purchases, something like 2-3%.

Anyhow, there's a BJ's opening up right down the street from me, maybe I'll check out their grocery section...and of course, I'll check out the iPaq in keeping with the spirit of this thread.

I have had success in price-matching to other nearby stores with BJ's on other items - including Sears too. I am personally not going to jump on this offer because I am waiting on the new generation of scalable processors - XScale, but I was very sorely tempted, being the owner of a second generation Windows CE device. I really am ready to upgrade. There's a Toshiba XScale coming with a larger 4" screen. But it won't be this price that's for sure :]
