UPDATE - 9/12/12

This card is now available at TigerDirect for $350AR with Borderlands 2.

Update: Card dropped another $18 during the day - now $331AR/FS.

Best deal yet on a GTX670, and this is pre-OC'd on a GTX680 PCB, no less. Even includes free copy of Borderlands 2. This is actually the exact same spec as the EVGA GTX670 FTW.

Code good through 8/28: HARDOCPX822B

And before anyone starts a flame war, yes, you can get a 7950 for ~$300. Both will reach the same performance at max overclocks, but this card definitely has the better out-of-box performance and lower power consumption (especially at max OC). The better deal depends on how much of a tweaker you are.

Is Galaxy is good company? Good deal though...

I had one of their previous gen cards and it was very solid. I've also heard good things about their CS. They are my favorite GPU company these days.

I'm about to start a build soon and I am seriously considering buying this card right now just because this is such a good deal for this card, although I didn't plan to start the build until Haswell drops.

So tempting to grab two of these, but I've been holding out for whatever the best deal is on BF. With the discount, it comes to $737.98, but you also get 2 free copies of Borderlands, so if you sold one for $40 or so, it's about $700 for factory OC, wonderfully cool 670 SLI....tempting...

Impressive deal, but I've been hoping to get a quieter card than a blower.

Dammit this is super tempting...any chance I'll be able to snag a 690 on BF for less than 2 of these today? Basically 2 of these right now would be ~$700, less 2x$20 MIR (limit is 2), plus I can probably get $40 for one of the two copies of Borderlands 2. So that's ~$620 for factory-OC 670 SLI...I doubt the 690s will fall that low by BF.

if you have the Chase freedom credit card, you get 5% cashback for Newegg.

I just bought this card for $310 AR ... thanks OP!

RS, do you have one of those fancy pictures you're always whipping out showing how badly this thing will demolish my Asus 570 DCII. I need shiny pictures to convince me to upgrade before BF! :D

This thread might help: http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2249195

In the end, Toyota the OP wasn't that impressed, but 40% is still a decent upgrade. That's pretty much in line with these TechPowerUp results on an MSI GTX670: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_670_Power_Edition/28.html

The 570 is still a great card, so this is a pretty tough one to call.

Don't sell on ebay then because they are going for less than $30. After fees, you'll be lucky if you see 20.

Picked up two of these, they'll replace my 480s. Thanks for posting this deal OP, amazing deal but this is really what high-end GK104-based parts should have been priced at 5 months ago. 2xBorderlands is really icing on the cake even though I already pre-ordered 1 copy....

I wouldn't use the word demolish. Apples-to-Apples, the GTX570 DCUII OC = GTX580. This version will come very close to a 680, OCed maybe another 5-7% faster than a 680. So you are looking at 34-41% faster than a your card. You can probably skip this generation to be honest, unless you can resell the 570 to offset the upgrade cost. Otherwise, I would not spend $330 out of pocket for only a 35-40% improvement. If you can sell the 570 and you wanted BL2 to begin with, it may be worth it. :)

EDIT: Looks like this deal is OOS at Newegg.
