You guys are fortunate to live by Frys. Everybody else has to pay full retail or pay the crappy prices from companys on pricewatch.

i'm pretty sure many will achieve cas2, but unlucky ones will not, because it doesn't state if it's cas2 😛

lmit 1 per person sucks tho

I think I am going to return my $119 Mushkin 2700 Basic in exchange for two Corsair's. The Mushkin Basic is not doing well in my MB. 😉

I bought some of the 2700 Muskin Basic from Fry's thinking it was top notch memory. Boy was I wrong. I could only get the 2700 memory running stable at 2100 speeds. I returned it and went somewhere else.

 
I returned the Mushkin 512mb PC2700 memory today too and got 2 sticks of this Corsair Value Select 256mb PC2700 memory. It's got Samsung TCB3 chips on it.
 
I got the Mushkin Enhanced memory just on Sautrday, if there is an ad tomorrow for Corsair PC2700, then I'll return the Mushkin.

Good deal. I have a Fry's near me and let me tell you it's like God parted the groud and then uprooted a Fry's in a middle of a dirt lot and advertised sweet computer deals. Of course, those CSR people are hired by the devil...
 
It's a Corsair 256MB DDR PC2700 CAS 2.5 (just basic Corsair, no heat speader) but for 59 bucks, come on guys. Actually it's already available today Monday and limited to 1 per customer (!). May be you have to walk twice thru a Fry's to get your 512MB. Anyway, I think it's still a good deal tho.

i got two sticks several weeks ago. they did about 180 at Cas 2 ( i didn't change the other numbers, whatever is SPD on those it was) at 2.8, passed memtest.
