*Warm* Epson Stylus Photo 1270 ~ $310 shipped

Saw on Epson USA's homepage that it is selling the Stylus Photo 1270 for $299.00. I checked shipping and it was a reasonable $9.95 to my home address, your mileage may vary, of course.

You can get it for a little cheaper on pricewatch, but from some shady dealers. In fact, many of the lowest prices there are from ppl selling *refubished* printers.

Seems like a warm deal to anyone interested in printing out wide-format, panoramic photos and the like. It is a great printer; kinda wish I saw this deal before I picked up my $80 875DC from OfficeMax.

I was ordering 2 like a month ago, one for me and one for my little bro, and OM just shipped me one. Then I ordered again last week and still crossing my finger.

I had 870 in the past. Now I own a 875DC. Should the 1270 be the next?

I ordered the 1270, it just arrived in a damaged, taped-up box (UPS 2-day air). I'm guessing that it was shipped from Epson that way (but will need to check) - I haven't opened up the box yet, but IMHO they sent me a refurbished one, not a new one. I'll post more details when available.

Since this is a discontinued model, it is very possible that the unit you received from Epson is refurbished. Even so, it is covered by a full, one-year instant exchange warranty. You might want to send it back though and take advantage of the deal from Dell
