Why is this warm? Searching the history of these forums, the previous lowest price was $300, so this seems to be the cheapest it's ever been. Also, if you were to buy this monitor right now, the next cheapest price is $310 that I can find. Also, no rebates! And unlike getting them through Dell (who refuses to price match these), you won't pay taxes unless you live in New York.

Dell U2412M from B&H for $289

I just ordered two for a dual screen setup, replacing my older, more power hungry, lesser resolution Dell 2007WFP displays. We also have these monitors at school and they're great; I highly recommend them for $289.

I use this monitor at home and work. Its 16:10 goodness cannot be beat for the price. I highly recommend this monitor.

And in my case, Dell also charges sales tax (Florida), so the Dell deal is merely lukewarm. If you don't live in New York, this is quite possibly the best deal ever for this monitor, but it's not a massive, buy-it-on-impulse discount.

In case anyone tries to stack the B&H student discount into this deal, don't waste your time signing up. A student discount is not available for this item.

Just got both my monitors today. You really can't beat Dell's packaging and bundling. The monitors are also amazing for the price; I'm very happy with them.
