I was JUST looking to buy this and I had this in mind. Anyone know any places that sell it for less than $99.99 so we can pricematch?

Found something...

It's $86.99 at amazon.com with free shipping.

I'm on the phone trying to get Staples to PM, but the CSR is giving my obvious BS saying that the site is down and I've been on hold for about 10 minutes.

COMPLETE BS!

She said she couldn't verify it was in stock even though it says "Usually ships within 24 hours."

They must have had training in refusing pricematching. She was studdering the whole time and tried to take down my info so should could "look into it and get back to me." She probably really wanted to blacklist me or something.

Wow, I thought you guys were smokin' something...I checked out the TI-83+ at staples.com a couple months ago as I was planning to buy one for school. When I looked back then they were only $86/$89 (can't remember exactly) and then use a $25/75 coupon...I wonder why they went back up...I guess I should've bought one, but decided my trusty old 82 would do fine for now...

I say you go for the Ti-89. It's a much much much better graphing calculator then the ti 83. You can use this TI-89 on the AP,SAT,PSAT tests. I'll pay an extra 30 for this any day.

the TI-89 is sooooooooo much better than the TI-83. I have a TI-89 and absolutely love it!!!

it can basically solve whatever problem or equation you throw at it and more...

it does cost a bit more, but it is truly worth it!

Just called again. I spoke to Jay on the phone. He had it done with coupon and pricematch. No problems at all. Cool guy.

You can get the TI-86 for that price also. I just did it for a friend's birthday present! Pricematch, then use coupons at Staples and Office Depot.

SwimmersSteve is right. The Ti-89 is just great. I got to use my friends' for a while and it's amazing. It actually does symbolic differentiation and integration. Can't do that on the Ti-86.
