Someone mentioned in another thread that Wal-mart would have a $100 gift card if you buy the 40 GB PS3 during the week of June 1. So for ~$410+tax you can have a 40 GB PS3, DualShock 3 and GTA IV (with a spare Sixaxis that you can make your wife use)

I saw the ad, it says Blue Ray Gift Card. Does that mean it is for movies only, or can it be used on anything?

according to some folks on another forum you can use the GC on anything in Wal-Mart

I'd rather get the ps3 deal from Walmart. Mainly bcause target has a shitty return policy these days (not taking back anything used from the electronics dept.) and walmart has a no questions asked policy.

plus $100 is way hotter than $50 for a console I much prefer. I just came from walmart and nobody knows about the deal yet.

good luck finding a ps3 during any sale though. I have yet to see a wii or DS at my walmart.

When did target change their return policy? I bought a 360 from Target in November looking for a Falcon. I opened it and found it was a Zephyr, so I returned it no questions asked.

it's probably different from store to store. If you read the policy it says "items must be returned in NEW or UNUSED condition".
