Just one caution: Quantum takes forever to mail you the rebate. I finally got mine last week ... for a drive I purchased in August! The only reason I got it as "quickly" as I did was because I called them 3 times. And, on the third call I raised so much hell with them that they "expedited" my rebate and (so they say) hand-cut me a check.

That $35 off on fry's page, is that the same one as quantum's? So the $40 that "fixedbyjohn" was talking about is what? I'm confused.

Staples.com carries Quantum OEM, but not this drive - so no PM opportunity:(

Would be pretty sweet with a $30 off $100 on top of the rebate - even if it takes forever...

At outpost, it says $159 - $40 rebate is $119 for this 40 gigger. But on quantum's rebate page, the 40 gigger can only get the $35 rebate, is this right? Or can the 40 GB one get the $40 off from quantum? Here's quantum's rebate page: quantum
