Thanks for the deal DCdomain. Just so nobody has any regrets, please keep in mind that flat panel (not flatscreen) monitor sales are supposed to quadruple this year over last. Translation- flat panel monitors might be affordable by the end of the year. Keep your eyes out for a new type of flatpanel from Samsung that uses nanotube technology.

Gfgray, how's the quality of the new ones? I've always wanted flat panels, lugging my two 19" Hitachi monitors back and forth from school ain't so hot. The thing that held me back from the flat panels wasn't the price, but the quality... they seem darker, and not as sharp... any improvements in the image quality, refresh rates and such?
