Warm deal on CD's and cassettes at BMG.com.

If any of you happen to be BMG members they have a pretty sweet deal on CD's and cassettes going on - 70% off. Cd's are $5.09 and cassettes are $3.59. I'm not a huge BMG fan because their selection is pretty limited but these are pretty cheap. It comes to $8.18 each with shipping & tax for the CD's. I know I couldn't find a price that cheap delivered anywhere on the web or B&M stores. I'm not sure if it's every selection that's 70% off but they had some good ones listed.

Is it just me, or are the cd's that BMG (and columbia house for that matter) of a crappier quality (scratches easier) than a retail bought cd?

It's just you. If you go to B&M music stores like Tower, and browse through the CDs, you'll find ones made by BMG. I think mostly classical. In any case, they are the same quality.
