Out of the GEForce2 GTS cards, this one has gotten the highest reviews on sharkyextreme.com, a known site for reviewing hardware with the gamer in mind. This card was rated highest on its Frames Per Second and ability to overclock the board. The memory was overclocked to 405 mhz, giving it sometimes up to a 20% increase in speed over the standard memory clock of 333mhz. This is about the best deal you can find on it right now:

Asus V7700 Pure 32MB GEForce2 GTS $202.92 shipped

I noticed that staples and buy.com don't carry this card, so I don't think pricematching or coupons are an option for this card, besides, most places that do carry this card list it at $230+. Anyone who's seen it for lower, let me know I'm about to buy this card.

I thought SE gave the Elsa Gladiac card their "top hardware award", or whatever they call it. BTW I have an Elsa Gladiac.

I think a better choice would be the AsusV7700 Deluxe GeForce2GTS 32MBDDR with the VIVO Features, I bought one for $225 from PriceWatch and the Video In Video Out features are Very nice, and it comes with those 3D glasses, overall the most feature packed GeForce2GTS card!

What exactly is VIVO (Video In Video Out) and what does it mean as far as what can it do to benefit you? I just haven't heard of that before, as I haven't been video card shopping in about 2 years since I got my 12 mb voodoo II haha....

VIVO.
Video In allows you to connect a device that has video to your card.
You can connect a camcorder, and transfer stills or video into your PC,
or hook it up to a vcr to use it's tuner, and record TV frames on your PC.

Video Out allows you to send your desktop images to another source that
has Video In capabilities. You can play a game, and record it on a vcr,
or it's main use, to display your desktop or game on a TV, a BIG Screen
TV perferably. Works great when playing multiplayer games on 1 computer.

You can also do these things with addons to your normal card. Usually,
the addons are much better. For example, a TV Tuner card will give you
all the benifits of Video In, plus add a cable ready tuner, for less
than $70. A scan convertor will give you Video Output, and usually goes
to higher resolutions than "built on video card" solutions. Cost around
$70. But, these are 1 time charges. You can keep the addons, when you
upgrade your video card. With an all in one card, you must always pay
the extra charge to get VIVO, that is inferior anyway to the addons.
