Sears currently has the KV-35S42 for $699. I know this is not a hot deal, but pretty good for Sears. And, if you put it on your Blue, you could pricematch with internet websites.

I know they were a couple of weeks ago, but not sure about now. Some kind of customer appreciation thing. I think you can use your sears card and get 10% but you would probably save more money by putting it on your Blue ( if you have one) and pricematching with the internet

This is a Trinitron not a Trinitron Wega. The main difference is that the Trinitron Wega is flat both vertically and horizontally, while the regular Triniron is flat vertically and round horizontally. This is a cold deal compared to some of the other 32" wega deals out there.

This deal is for a 35"... not a 32"

I would say it's warm... if you are looking for a decent (not great!) 35" TV......

Yes there is, my friend has one. They are expensive and VERY heavy, due to the flat screen requiring very thick glass. (Curved screens are much stronger to resist the inward push of atmospheric pressure. The CRT tube is a partial-vacuum inside)

Anyhow, if this was a 35" Wega, this would be a very hot deal. As is, it's just warm...

Best price I could find was $200 more and didn't include the stand. It's a great deal.

Thanks.

Wega series does not have 35". There is 32" and next up is 36". This is just regular Trinitron.

Got a flyer today--back to $699 beginning Dec 5. 0% financing until Jan 2003. I've got the 32" version of this TV(I've had it several years). No problems/no complaints.

sears has it on sale 699.99 from 1 - 15 DEC, they will have a 10% off in the near two weeks, so i think you can get it 629.99+tax, not bad.

Does anyone know exactly when the 10% off will start? I think $629 for this TV is an excellent deal AND you are buying from a reputable company. Also, does anyone know if this tv has component inputs?

Slightly OT - Sony is now pushing the envelope (pun intended) with a 40" Wega XBR. It lists at about 3499.99 plus the stand is another 4 or 500 bucks. I guess it weighs in the 300lb ballpark.
