I have one, but it was for an ext. Zip drive.

I thought ZipZoom worked for both external and internal SCSI?

The Zip Zoom on these supports just internal no ext port. I bought 2 of these and both were defective and had to be sent back. Then one of the replacements died. I would pass on these refurbs as they don't seem to test them very well.

I got one of these in late July or early August. The zip zoom that you get with it is an internal only model.

edit sorry, I should probably read the whole tread before i reply and repeat old news.

Nothing wrong with refurbs, you get the same warranty as if it were brand new, and there's one less thing to go wrong, cuz they already fixed it.

Anybody else order/receive one of these? I've already got a scsi card, I'm wondering if they do come with mounting hardware? I ordered one Friday, seemed like a good deal to me. Usually go for $50 and up on EB*y.

I hooked it up to my Symbios Logic SCSI card without any problems and the drive works fine ever since I bought it...
I even did the click of death test and the drive passed it without any problems...
