at Central Computer B&M, which has branches in Santa Clara, Newark, and SF. With tax it came to $37.75 which I think is a pretty good deal. This is a special price which expires on 9/23 (the deal has been extended past the 9/16 date stated on their website):

This card is exactly the same as the X-gamer or the MP3 version of the Live! 5.1. If you don't need the firewire port on the Audigy, this is a good sound card.

Newegg has it for $32 + $4 shipping. But they're out of stock right now.

Bump for Central! I shop there all the time, always try to stop by whenever I'm in the area. They also carry Antec and Supermicro cases, rounded U160 cables (3 and 5 connectors), and ADDA case fans.

Just so you know, the Bay Area is not Northern California. There is a good 350+ miles of California
north of the bay. :-D

Torval,
Why don't you chill out and go visit it.
Intelligent people know what doc is talking about. Especially after reading his post.

Tell me about it - I just found out! =( Serious hanging problems mixing KT133 and SB Live.

Oh well, I installed the newest Liveware 3.0 from Creative's website and the hanging seems to have stopped now. Let's hope it doesn't come back.

I think this only happens if you use RAID at the same time. SB and the Highpoint RAID controller don't seem to get along well. I'm using RAID-1 mirroring.
