I, too, am looking into a *cheap* 19" monitor...the refresh rate seems sweet, but I always remember Mag as being the *cheap* manufacturer, which receives a lot of flack for sub-par products...Anyone know if they have improved in quality?

I've had the Mag 800V for a year and it's not bad. Check Walmart as they are closing them out. They have been spotted for $269 (what I got mine for) and less. The thing I notice the most after using Sonys for a few years is how much I miss the flat screen and how much more it shows up on a 19".

Yea, it's a great monitor. I got two at my local Wally World a couple of months ago. In fact I posted the deal at that time and the other Wal Marts are finally clearing them out I guess.
Anyway, I got mine for $200 and another one for $150 because my store is moving to a new location.

It's on par with the Philips 109s which I got for my wife.

However, at that price level there are probably better monitors to be had for a hot deal.

I would build an addition for a 19 footer if I could get it that cheap then invite all my friends over to watch the Braves go all the way!
