This might not be the best CD-Rom in the market. But for those who are looking for a simple and functional Cd-rom, this might be it.

$39.98 at Staples, use $10 off $30 coupon, and $20 rebate.
Final=$9.98

anyone knows if this drive is any good?

This is better if you do the following:

CD-ROM - $39.98
Add $10.01's worth of stuff
Total - $50

Use the 20 off 50 coupon

-$20 with the rebate

Final cost - still $10.00

1. Your link is not working.
2. The link you pointed is also a dup-post. (I know it since I posted the first thread)
3. It's nice to remind a good deal.
4. The CD-ROM is not bad at all.
5. I think I got it for FREE, so why you guys need pay $10?
6. Nothing else :D
7. Well, I posted a little "review", now you have to search it.

I tried ordering this deal last week and Staples sent me an email saying the Delta was out of stock, and that they were cancelling my complete order (I had a free eudora in the cart too) unless I just wanted the Eudora. Didn't say anything about letting me wait to see if more came in stock.

If anyone has ordered and got confirmation of product availability after 9/15/00 please let me know.

Thanks.

I think CinderElmo answered your first question. That Eudora is free after rebate. (Exact the same one I got w/ my Delta CDROM:))

Memorex? Yes I have one. This Delta is much quieter than Memorex. And it reads my CD-R(W) well, but seems slower than Memorex.

And yes, I got that free DR 56X CDROM too. Not installed yet, and I don't want to put three CD-ROMs in one PC:D
