This is a white box kit, but seems a good enough deal because of the decoder.

Too bad these things don't come with remotes, oh well.

that's a tempting deal... been looking at Hollywood Plus combo for around $120 at goroyalpc.

Davemeister do you know what the difference is between the Utobia DVDMotion package and the Hollywood Plus package at goroyalpc.com? Is the Hollywood Plus card better?

dxr3 SUCKS! just go buy a dvd drive and get software decoding.

the output doesn't look that great. at least my dxr3 doesn't look that great. which is why i ripped it out. if you really wanted to watch it on a tv and a receiver, you might want to get a real dvd player.
