I'd call this a warm deal at most but figure this might be a good buy for those that need PDA on the road with wider screen than regular PDA.
Having many expansion slots is a plus.....but extra softwares maybe harder to find than newer PDA like Palm or Pocket PC.
If you need to use Spreadsheet, Word.....etc, this thing would get the job done much faster than ordinary PDA due to a wider screen and bigger keyboard.

Available at MP Superstore (yes....MSN Holiday Reward participating store).

Direct Link

Get it at $299.99 plus S/H
Get MSN reward back $40

To maximize the deal..........add something cheap to get the total over $300, you'll get MSN rebate back for $60

Total $239.99 after MSN reward plus S/H

Quick spec:

64-bit Hitachi SH4 128mhz processor (slower than iPaq but will easily get the job done)
800x600 SVGA
95% size keyboard
Touch pad
Voice recording
Built-in 56K v.90 modem
two PCMCIA slots
one CF slot
one serial port
one infrared port
audio in/out
built-in microphone

I personally have no shopping experience with MP.com so I can't give a comment on this.

Anyone cares to give some input about this store?[

That's a good deal for what they are. I like the wider screen, and the expansion ports. It will be easy to add memory and wireless card and browse internet, but you won't find much software to run on a HPC. I think HP makes one with a 206MHz StrongArm that the Ipaq uses.
