This will make a great basic system for your parents/grandparents:
Combo at sybercom.com
Sybercom.com got great resellerratings btw.
Combine this with a 17.99 case at SVC and $10 power supply at SVC and you got yourself a great little system(sans the ram and hard drive)

I got this info from gravitationally-challenged wallet by the way

Another thing worthy of mentioning: This is a PCI-only board -- no agp. Also Anandtech did a review of this board in 2000 and found to be very stable and high-quality mobo.

PCI only?no AGP? I've heard that before but I'm not sure what that means.Would that effect me if I only basically would use the system to surf the net, download some music, burn some CD's,use some buissness apps? For $75 this seems like a great upgrade for my current 300 mhz CPU.Thanks in advance for any input

From the anandtech review: the on-board TNT2 M64 takes advantage of that AGP 4X interface, so there is no AGP slot.
