warm boot, cold boot

Recently my system (XP Pro) started crashing upon the desktop loading after a warm boot. Now this happens every single time that I try to do a warm reboot. However, after a cold reboot it is fine, until a warm reboot again. Does anyone have any idea what the $%#@ that is all about? Thanks! BTW, I tried system restore but it did not fix the problem....

my 3200 is fine but when l first got it, when the 3200 was new l had probs like that to and found 3 times my windows corrupted...
