I stopped by Amazon today to see when The Departed was coming out on DVD and saw that they have the James Bond Ultimate DVD collection on sale right now.

All four boxed sets (20 movies) for $180.

That's about the best price I've seen on those. You can usually get each set for $60-70 in store, so $45/each is pretty good.

It works out to $9/movie. They're two disk editions with remastered pictures. I've heard the extras are mostly the same this time around as they were before when they came out on DVD, and if that's the case they're pretty impressive.

eBay prices are right around this neighborhood ($45/set), but this way you can get them all from one place and not have to worry about potentially pirated DVDs (although most of the people I saw selling them looked legit).

Unfortunately, MI6 isn't exactly savvy negotiating licensing deals, they're much better at spy-type stuff. As a result, no 00 Agents gets royalties from the DVD sales of our exploits :D.

No Mr. Bond. I want you to die!

Nothing personal. Just my favorite line :)
