I think I'd rather get a bigger discount on a book by buying through Amazon. I really don't like the prices at bookstores. Though it comes in handy for checking out the book first.

maybe will help the most with their clearance type books. They often have many cook books on discount in that section, would make a good gift for the holidays.

When both B&N and Amazon give 30% off NYtimes bestsellers, this would give it another 10% off. Or it might be useful on something like the Calvin and Hobbes complete set. $105 at B&N (94.50 for members). Amazon has it for 105 but no free shipping. Thanks OP, every little bit helps.

Thanks OP--the B&N has a much better selection than the Borders, and because you can stack this coupon on top of any discounted items in the store (which you can't do with Borders coupons), you can really get a good deal or two.
