Looks like a good deal! This might be good for someone that needs a bump in their purchase to use a dollar off coupon.

Good deal indeed. OM doesn't have that ad out in my area this week, but if trend follows from that D-Link Wireless AP situation, they'll have it here next week. So, with a 14-day window, I'll buy this week anyhow and PM it later on, since the rebate is only good until 9/7.

I've already got my system on a 500VA Back-UPS, but now I'm gonna take the monitor off of the 500 and give it the 300VA by itself. Safer that way. ;)

Not to thread crap, but the one I got several month back is already dead now. Yesterday when the electricity went out, the battery didn't last even a single second. When the electricity is back, the UPS shows "Replace battery" light. I removed the battery and placed it back again, but the light won't go off. I am going to question APC customer service.

By the way, it DID work very well as a surge protector. My receiver was connected through a Belkin surge protector, it pause for half a seconds when I turn the light switch. After connect the receiver to "Surge Protection Only" plug of the APC unit, the anoying pause disapeared.

Did you get the PM from Staples? If they applied their policy as written there should not be a PM as the Staples price after rebate is less than OM. Doing a PM with Staples is hit or miss, all depends who you deal with.

Still a good deal for a filler item to use the OD 20 off 50 coupon.

Hey guys I got in on this deal today. I took the 20 off 50 dollar Office Depot coupon to Staples and asked if they would honor competitors coupons. The store manager asked to see it, looked it over and said ok. I picked up the ups and some other office stuff I needed to bring the total just over 50, got out of there for 33 bucks and I sent off the 30 dollar rebate when I got home. You can't go wrong!
