EndPCNoise has it on sale for $35.95 - looks like it's a single fan version that normally comes with the Sonata case. Not a bad deal IMHO, newegg has the dual fan version for $65.

According to the info in the origional link, this is the old version of the Sonata True380 since it only has 18A on the 12V line. The newer model has 24A.

Still a reasonable deal. Thanks OP.

Nice find OP! I just got one of the newer versions from FS/FT for $40 shipped and it runs great. Abit NF7-S, Barton 2500+ slightly OCed, 1 gig ram, Ti4800SE, 1 CDRW, SATA 74GB Raptor, and 120GB PATA (running on SATA) Maxtor. Everything runs sooooooo much smoother after putting it in.

Which model is that, Nessism?

Antec updated the True380, as supplied in the Sonata, and boosted the 12V rail. It happened a little while ago but since many vendors still had the old version in stock Antec did not openly announce the running change.

Feel free to compare the origional link to this one from the Antec site.

That's good to know. I recently RMA'ed my Antec Trupower 380s and they sent me a completely new one.

Antec rates their power supplies conservatively.
I am using the Sonata with the 380W 24A power supply:

- A8N-SLI Deluxe
- 1GB RAM Kingston hyperx
- 2x GForce 6600Gt's (overclocked)
- 3x HD (2sata 1ide)
- 1x DVD player
- 1 dvd burner
- card reader
- floppy drive
- Overclocked 3200 (90 nm) (2.2 now)
- Zalman cpu cooler
- two 120mm case fans
- usb scanner and two printers

Voltage monitor is giving me these values:

+12V: 11.712
+5V: 4,865
+3,3V: 3.232
Vcore: 1.504

does it say the psu specifications on the sonata box, because im planning to get 1 and need to make sure its the newer 1 with 24A.

Speaking of running changes to the Antec TruePower series...any improvements to the TruePower 550? Mine broke and I need to RMA it, and if the new one is better it's good news =)
(well it semi-broke, the fans in it stopped spinning and I smelled something funky since it was starting to burn, but I've rigged an external fan onto the back for now and it seems to be functional except for the fan rail which is dead).
