all cases from Staples are shipped in 3-5 days (i ordered an SLK1600 last night Tues, June 3rd...scheduled delivery is Monday, June 9th) because they are coming direct from Antec as opposed from staples warehouse...

from what ive seen...all the staples antec cases have the antec power supply units (except the 1000AMG) that are standard with the case...just like newegg lists...

all cases from staples are available only thru phone or online purchases...

i had noted the $25 coupon because i HAVE seen $25 off $125 coupons floating around at one point or another (and no i dont know if any exist now...im sure you guys all have your sources to find what you need)

note: all staples prices reflect those before taxes have been added...all taxes charged on the after-coupon price...

Well it can be purchased instore also, because I had a $40 gift check for instore use only, I just came back from the store and bought the SX1040BII: $110.50 - $40 gift check + tax = $77 shipped. My scheduled delivery is June 11, hope I get it sooner.

Wouldn't this be a better deal? It comes with Antec TRUE380 ps which alone costs $80 from newegg. Just a thought.

Muzzy: Looks good...

rebate valid for purchases made from may 30th UNTIL June 6th.
MFR rebate...

problem is outpost's shipping...

that little Storix Axis 128MB usb flash drive i bought at Microcenter the other day for $50 - $20 MMIR was at Outpost for $50 - $30 MMIR...
so i was all over that deal...so i called them up and asked to make the purchase, and he was like shipping is $5.31...besides the fact that it was gonna be shipped in 5-6 daysfrom OHIO TO PHILADELPHIA GROUND...one can drive that in less than a day...so for $6 or so (due to tax at microcenter) i said i wasnt going to wait 5-6 days to ship...so i said no to outpost.

mind i NOTE that this storix axis USB drive is not even a half a pound in weight in original packaging.

you might want to call outpost and find out shipping on the case...i wouldnt be surprised to see a shipping price of $20 or more AT LEAST.

besides...if its that cheap, you amy want to PM to staples, cause all i read nowadays in threads is "PM XXX AT OUTPOST TO STAPLES!!!!"...staples will include shipping though...so you will need to find out how much shipping is...

people seem to trust antec PSU's...

other than that...i dont know...i mean ALL Mid-Tower cases have a standard now...
Width is no less than 7.64", Height isnt more than 17", and depth 17"...

all cases that arent aluminum are the same...

i was gonna buy this case from the place i bought my PSU, 400W PSU included for $38...
but i opted not to...mainly because of the PSU...ive already bought that case and i think the PSU fan is a TAD bit noisy...and all antec advertises is like QUIET PSUs...

Staples has this one for $129.99 I see a lot of potential with this one PM.

Anyone know if Circuit City will PM Fry's/Outpost.com? I'm not sure if the price at Fry's B&M is the same as Outpost.com.

If so, I want to use my MSN dollars to buy this case (Antec Sonata).

Also, you could probably buy this case from Staples with a $20 off $100 coupon, and then PM to Outpost.com. You might be able to get it for $59.99 + tax on $99.99. YMMV of course, but I've seen pull off bolder deals.

They are far from being expensive, if you factor in the great power supply that comes with the case.

Yup...the PSU is great but the sturdiness of their cases exceeds the cheapies out there. They're really strong, well designed units even if somebody else DOES manufacture 'em. Antec's sent out a couple of letters to geek sites about the specs of their cases and PSU's being better than the similar products built by the same manufacturers. I believe what they say based on my personal experience with Antec, Chieftec, Chenming and CWT products. Antec stands behind their products while the others just flat out don't.

Very sturdy, and heavy too, you might want to add, lol. Not there's anything particulary wrong with that. I own the SLK3700AMB, its side panel is almost as heavy as some el-cheapo aluminum cases. :)

Oh and BTW, I've owned an InWin case before, the S500. It was about as good as the Antec, quality-wise. Its screwless drive rail system is the best I've ever seen. They are just not as "pretty" or feature-laden.

I also own an Enlight 300W power supply. It's damn quiet (noticeably quieter than the Antec SmartPower 350W thanks to its single fan design with thermo control), and it feels heavy. I never owned an Enlight case before, but I believe their quality is just as good.

If you think Antec is too expensive, try one of them. They're better than any of those fancy but cheap and crappy Skyhawk/Superflower/Raidmax cases for sure.

I like "hot deals" logic. That gift card you have already counted once before, did you? Man, you did not get it twice, only once. :D

You are absolutely right. I wonder why is that inwin people cannot figure out that they have to do like work on the style though.
