Was building a PC this week and needed a nice silent case. I was stuck between the 2650 BQE and the Lanboy, both ~$80 @ compusa. Ended up with this one cause I wanted two 120mm fans, and I didn't want the sidepanel fan on the 2650.

$80 is not a super great price for this, but after shipping costs, you'll generally find it for ~$75-$80 online. It was nice to have it NOW for building for just a few bucks more....well alot more initially I guess since I have to wait for the rebate ;)

Anyway - enjoy.

AWSOME part to a QUIET case.

it's not THAT quiet. the antec fans that come with it are kinda loud, i replaced them with a pair of adjustable enermax fans i'm running at 5V. however nonetheless, this is a great case. don't forget that this comes with a quality antec power supply.

Agreed that this case isn't ALL that. I'm actually wishing I bought the 2650, because I'm now thinking the blowhole might've come in handy, and I could always just place something over it if I didn't want it.

I will say that this case is an ultimate pleasure to work inside. The hard drive cage is awesome (with rubber feet for silence), and in general overall, a sense of higher quality from some other cases I've used.

I won't say this is a super quiet case, but it has allowed me to run fans a bit louder than I had them in a previous case, and have less overall volume. That generally shows alot in small details causing vibrations IMHO.

Overall happy. I think I might buy the 2650 and get replace another computer's old case.

I have both the 2650 and 3700 BQE -- go with the 3700. Both are great cases but the 3700 is more solid and without the blowhole a little quieter. 2650 is a tad smaller though.

I also like the sideways mounted drives in the 3700.

I have the 3700 BQE and the case fan and power supply fan are very quiet. However, my processor fan is loud as hell and kind of defeats the purpose of having this case to begin with. Also, one the door locks doesn't close all the way. Overall, it is a good case and I would recommend it to others. The Sonata is supposedly better, but it was $20 more than this case at the time when I got it.

Ebuyer.com (make sure you click their US site, default is UK) has this case for $63.48 + pretty reasonable s/h, total for me around 2 weeks ago was $74.16 shipped. The Vantec Stealth 120mm fan goes well with it for the front intake without adding any noise (not sure where to find cheapest price on it I just grabbed mine from Newegg cause I needed it quick once I had the case).
