Aiwa TV-F2400
Solesen, I found this in the PC Richards in Bay Plaza (Shopping Center), Bronx, NY 10475.
I've been looking for a medium-to-large-sized television for some time now, and this was one of the better deals I found. The TV is flatscreen and has 1 more A/V input than the equivalent Wega. Unfortunately I couldn't find this particular model at any of the respectable online stores I know of, so I paid local tax. This TV is heavy, but it's not the armored trucks that Wega's are (including the 24"
, and the picture quality is nice.
Last week, I almost picked up one of these TV's when the price was $500, so now I thought I'd spend some $$ on a 3-year warranty. That way if the TV dies in 3 years and the model is no longer produced, I'll get a $450 (+ tax) credit toward a new TV. Or if there's a fixable problem, the TV is picked up from my apartment at no extra charge.
I believe the $450 price is now PC Richard's regular price, rather then a limited-time sale price.
