AMD Dual-Core C-50 (1.0Ghz) processor
3GB DDR3 RAM
320GB SATA
8X DVD-Super Multi Double-Layer Drive
15.6" Widescreen CineCrystal LED
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
6-Cell Lithium-Ion battery
802.11b/g/n
ATI Radeon HD 6250 Graphics with 256MB of dedicated system memory
2-in-1 Digital Media Card Reader
3 USB slots
15" (W) x 9.96" (D) x .98"/1.33" (H)
5.74lbs
1 year warranty
1 HDMI Port
Full-size keyboard with integrated numeric keypad
1.3 Megapixel HD Webcam (1280 x 1024 resolution)

Not a bad price considering the specs, except for the AMD C-50 1.0ghz processor, which is the only thing keeping me from going to get one right now.

Anyone pick one of these up, or have experience with that processor?

Everything seems good but I've never heard of or seen that processor before. Dual core, but only at 1Ghz? Still probably fine. Also it's just got a DVD reader, not a burner. Still seems solid for the price.

This is an AMD Bobcat/Zacate core. They are also available at 1.6GHz with slightly better IGP for a few bucks more. The 1GHz version would have Atom-like performance - bit less in single threaded stuff, bit more in multithreaded stuff, and with better graphics. The 1.6GHz version is sufficiently better than a dual core Atom to be usable for pretty much anything except for recent games.
