Yeah, I have ordered plenty of things from them, and they have always shipped in a timely manner. I think the status is always listed as accepted. Items I received months ago are still listed as accepted in my account history.

Dude this sucks. First of all, I got the 4X instead of the 8X I ordered. Second, the invoice overcharged me by $25 dollars. On top of all this, it is opened boxed!!! No UPC to speak of.
What the hell is going on with this POS?

Bug.

I'd appreciate any feedback. Just wondering if I'm the only one who got shafted.

Does anyone else's order say anything besides accepted?

Mine says that, but if you click on the order# it'll tell you whether it was shipped or not. There's a UPS icon on the page. If you click it, it'll take you to the tracking info.

I just got my card in this morning. I thought it would be retail. I happen to look through www.lexarmedia.com and didn't realize that these things cost so much. MSRP is like 179.99 there!
Good deal!

Was yours in a retail package?
If so, w/ upc?
Was it a 4x or 8x?

Mine won't be here until Tuesday, but I'm curious because
of the comments from the one person above!

What makes me wonder if it's a refurb/open box is the text from Overstock.com:

<< The Digital Film Compliance seal assures you that your Lexar film is 100-percent compatible with your CompactFlash digital camera. And your film is also backed by a 5-year limited customer satisfaction warranty.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shipping: Ships within 2 business days

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Warranty: 90 days - manufacturer

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Model No: CF048-245
>>

The Warranty discrepancy stands out.

[spelling error fixed]

I got mine today:
1. It was the 4X model, not the 8X one.
2. It is not retail packaged. No UPC = No rebate
3. This is the same model computers4sure has for $37.99 + shipping.

I feel like I have been had.

I wrote to overstock.com and told them about the discrepancy between the advertised (8X) product and the one I actually got (4X). I also told them computers4sure has it for $38 (It's actualy $43.50 with shipping). They gave me a $5 refund. That brings the price down to $39.99, without the hassle of rebates. Not too bad.

45$ shipped and no rebate to worry about, nice price.

But didn't the site say 4x or 8x? don't remember... but anyway, how does 4x really compare to stuff from kingston (where no speed is indicated)? I mean, if it's "4x faster" that that..... welll... that's one hell of a deal

I also got the same thing but checked my credit card and it was the discounted price not the invoice price.

I got mine today - I'm a little pissed!
No retail box!
8x advertised - but 4x delivered!
Almost seems used!

Does overstock have a phone number to contact them or only their email?

Still a decent deal, but should have been better! :|

Yeah, I'm thinking about returning it myself. I got in on the Computers4sure deal also which was a little cheaper and in a retail box (have to do rebate though)

My box said it was shipped from Just4Deals...hmmm!
