This is close to hot...warm deal would have been the $70 I was going to pay a few weeks ago from accessmicro. Also, the description lists it as a 4X so the rebate will probably work. Will check the UPC when it arrives.

Anyone know for certain if the rebate will work.
I saw that egghead has the CF048-235 (48mb with jumpshot) with a rebate but that's not the same model?

I think we are getting the 8x speed according to the model number (good) but the rebate only applies to the 4x CF048-235 (bad)

Either way, great deal!

EDIT: It doesn't appear the rebate is available. Please prove me wrong.

Thanks for thanking but John P. gets the kudos for the case deal. I just happened to notice the $15 coupon works for $50.

I wish I could have used my Disco Platinum on the Lexar but I had to call Friday to cancel my account and get a new number. Some lowlife stole my info and bought $45 worth of downloads @ Lustcomics.com porno comics. I can't imagine spending that much on comics! Must be a kid who got it because I have a $15 grand limit on that one and that's the only thing he stole (so far as I know!)

Thanks for all the kind words. This was really my first deal posted here, I've been a L-O-ONG time lurker. Just stumbled across the deal when I was searching around for CF cards for my Casio E-125 this weekend.

Didn't call it HOT because I've seen too many people lambasted and flamed for posting hot deals when someone says, "Oh, I got that $20 cheaper at xxxx.com."

I'll be sure to pass along any more I ever find. This forum has saved me a ton of money already, just a way to pass the savings on...
