Where does it say that this is a flat screen? My mom has a TV from Toshiba that looks identical to it, and while it is an awesome TV, its not flat. If it's not flat, its not too great of a deal, but if it is, it's smokin'!

36" flat for $799? That will be supper! That is why I came in. I think it is a normal one after reading all these specs. Nothing good at all.
 
I've been in the market for a tv for awhile now and this is one model i've considered. It is a nice tv and has a great picture, but it's not a flat screen tv.
 
The 36AF41 is a flat screen. The 36A41 is not a flat screen. Both are great TVs but there is a $400 difference in price. $799 is about the going rate for the 36A41. I made the same mistake myself a few months ago, when I found the 36A41 for $799 online (@ googdguys) and confused it for the 36AF41 that I'd been looking at in Best Buy.
