Warm 15" LCD with DVI $250 AR or $200 AR/Coupon + tax @ OM

They took it off the omax website this morning. Was there yesterday afternoon. Looks like they took off all of the LCDs.
 
No longer on the website; just says "available in retail store only"...if yours is "backordered", then that might just mean order cancelled. YMMV and I hope that those who did order get the item and the discounts.
 
Anyone get their LCD yet? On the webpage, I can go and look at my order, and it says it's shipped, and was supposed to be delievered today. But, I wasn't able to get any tracking info, and it hasn't showed up yet, but sometimes UPS does deliver around 5-6...so there's still some time. I just hope I didn't get screwed over by them since they've since removed it from their site.
 
Mine said not yet shipped on the site but I got it today. Being my first LCD I must say it's impressive. Seems to have about the same real estate as a 17" so I don't mind it being 15". Must be the best purchase I ever made. Gonna play some games on this baby.
 
I received mine today. I haven't had a chance to set it up yet so I can't comment on quality, but I just wanted to let people know that the 1 business day shipping really is one business day... unlike some other stores. This could also be the reason why they removed it from the webpage. If they ran out of stock, they wouldn't be able to keep their one business day promise and some bone head would have tried to use that against them to get a free monitor.
 
Still nothing out here....it's weird. I ordered, got a confirmation e-mail, and the money was taken out of my account for it, but when I go to officemax.com and check my status, there's 2 different orders there that were placed on the 13th. The one is accessable, and shows "All items shipped". When you click for more info, I see it saying "First product
delivery date will be July 15, 2003 ", but it says in here, "Current Status: Item(s) not yet shipped ". Confusing. Then, if I click on the other 'order', I receive an error stating "We're sorry. We were unable to retrieve your order information." Hopefully that will just be forgotten, and I'll receive my monitor soon. I don't mind if it's not here today, but sometime this week (or at all) would be nice.
 
Got mine today. The orde tracking on OfficeMax's website bites a big pillow to say the least. I called to check the status and i was told that there will not be a tracking number for the monitor. Good thing my mom was home to accept it. She said it was just some spanish looking guy in his car dropping it off. The monitor works aswome. I did have one problem where i had it setup, then unplugged it to more it around, and it would not turn back on. I called Mitsubishi, and the guy i got was clueless. he knew nothing. Winds up, i left it unplugged for a while and then it came back to life when i tried it again.
 
omax website said it would be delieved yesterday... so i call and ask why i have not gotten the LCD yet.. she says it shipped ups and will arrive today... she gave me a tracking number and viola...

should be here around noon thats when the fedex guys usually comes.

I don't know. You might want to call the store up directly and ask if they will do it for you. I have had good experiances with dealing with OM customer service. Of course I only go to the actual store about once a year and buy most of the things online so YMMV.
 
Yup, mine showed up today and is up and working. From what I can tell, there's no bad pixels at all, and it looks great as the secondary monitor, running on regular VGA (the DVI cable is not included, but the VGA is). Another nice thing about this is that it has speakers, and a headphone jack up front...this could be good for playing my dreamcast through this monitor. So far, I'm pleased.

the dual 17" flat crt's at work are crap, the 19" flat diamondtron is crap.

all i want is another LCD thats this bright... but bigger!

no dead pixels so far.

I got my LCD monitor today, it is wonderful except for one thing.

I have black background and on the right hand side, I see a red dot, which doesn't seem to go away, is that a dead pixel?

Can I get it replaced? Will OfficeMax replace it?

Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
 
I found one in store near my location.. but will I'm not able to find a valid $50 off $250 coupon... I found few sites where they expired on 07/12/03.. any leads will be appreciated.. I called them up and have one on hold for tomorrow.

To my knowledge the only valid $50 off $250 coupons were for online only. 🙁
Which really sucks as I was gonna get one of these...

Dont quit yet. Some store manager accept online coupons. Call them up and ask them if they will take the coupon.
 
ok, i returned the lcd with the dead pixel, guess what, the replacement has one too, except it's not red, also, the sound on the speakers were fine with the first lcd, but this one is skipping. I have no idea what happened.
 
The online coupon worked.. got the deal!! installed the LCD and looks great.. but no DVI cable, disappointing though.

You can actually submit two rebates, and you can probably get both of them.

Initially OfficeMax had the one that went to Miami on their website now they have one that goes to ElPaso, Texas if you purchased after July 13. I printed out the rebate form the day I ordered and it's completely different.

Anways, I went to rebateshq.com and looked under Mitsubishi and they had a $50 rebate if you bought from OfficeMax between 6-29 and 7-26-03.

So there are two rebates, though both require original UPC, I submitted the rebateshq.com one, anyone do differently or same.

Got in on this deal today - convinced the manager to take the online 50 off 250. Nice monitor, and it works great for the Dreamcast🙂
