That refresh rate at 1600 X 1200 is really low. You would notice a ton of flicker.

Sure would, but I have NEVER run 1600 x 1200 on a 17" monitor. The 85Hz @ 1024 x 768 is what interests me and that's what I run at generally.

Yea good luck running any 17" CRT at 1600x1200, let alone a ShadowMask CRT.
